1.) Read I Corinthians 1
-What is the main point(s)?
-What are repeated words, phrases, and concepts?
-What do you find interesting & want to share?
-What questions do you have about this passage?
2.) What is “the message of the cross”? How can it be both foolishness and power?
3.) What OT passage does Paul quote in v19? What does this have to do with I Corinthians 1?
4.) Talk about this “wisdom of this world” and “wisdom of God”.
5.) How has God chosen to “save those who believe”?
6.) Did God give the Jews a “sign” and the gentiles “wisdom”?
7.) Describe those whom God has called & chosen?
8.) What is the wisdom that we can glory in?
9.) What is “righteousness and sanctification and redemption”?
10.) Look up the OT quotation in v31.
